Graduate Student

As a graduating student at the CrossmediaLab I participate in the OASE-project. The OASE-project consists of several Universities of Applied Science and universities who research and work together regarding weblectures.

In October 2009 the Hogeschool Utrecht started a pilot in the context of the OASE-project. The investigation of the possibilities of recording student presentations is the main aim of this pilot.

I study Digital Communication at the Hogeschool Utrecht. I’m graduating at the subject mentioned above. My research is scoped to different areas. I research the technical working of the recording system, how weblectures can be used as educational applications and I research the opportunities and threats of the implementation of weblectures in the Hogeschool Utrecht organization.

For my researches I have to make measurements that can be used in the future, a manual for some college rooms and a manual for the recording system. All these things are combined, with of course an explanation of my thinking and handling, in a thesis. My thesis will be complete at the end of January 2010. I hope I will pass for my graduation after my thesis is returned.
