A million years ago I joined the faculty of Communication and Journalism (FCJ) at the University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (Hogeschool Utrecht). As a co-creator of the newest department of the FCJ family, Communication and (cross)media design (CMD) I am responsible for course development and the lecturing of it all. I also teach at ICM (international communication and multi media) the international department of the FCJ. My main subjects are (graphic) design, animation & film, semiotics, interaction and storytelling & narrative.

I studied at the Academy of Arts in Utrecht (HKU), lecturer arts and history of art and after my graduation I went on to the faculty Art, media and technology (KMT at HKU) and I graduated in image and media technology (BMT). I have worked as a free-lancer at NOB design, TDI Paris, Crosfield UK amongst others and lectured at the HKU and Hogeschool Holland. I have a passion for art, animation and languages.

I was born, brought up and living now in the center of Utrecht, the most beautiful city in the world!
