In 2005 I started studying Digital Communications at the university of applied sciences Utrecht. I am currently graduating at the Crossmedialab, on the subject of social tagging and its effects on the user experience and educational value of weblectures. For this research I will develop a mobile application with which users can add social tags to the time line of a weblecture during the weblecture.

During my studies I have worked on several projects whose subjects are related to this research. In 2007 I took part in a project to develop a flash based application for PDA's. This application was based on the teaching method “Veilig leren lezen” and was used on elementary schools to teach children how to read, write, listen and speak. In 2009 I took part in designing a user interface for a rich media application. After this I did an internship where I developed an online platform based on the same rich media application. During this internship I also did research on integrating social media in such an online platform.
