Many cultural institutes in The Netherlands are eagerly digitalizing their cultural heritage. The main reason is to preserve everything before it diminishes and to facilitate information to a larger audience, ranging from researchers to cultural enthusiasts. Whilst doing so, a major question rises; ‘how to go digital from an analogue state or incomplete database’;. Even though the latter is an important and obvious question, we tend to look further ahead, at a future point when everything is already digitized.
